The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had a comfortable bed. It was centrally located, making it easy to explore the area on foot, and we were grateful that we could bring our pet along. I recently stayed at Thornton in Chipping Campden and had a wonderful experience. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and had a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. The location was fantastic, with plenty of bars, eateries, and cafes right on the doorstep. I loved exploring the village and learning about its history. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The amenities provided, such as the fully equipped kitchen, made our stay even more convenient. The wifi worked seamlessly and the shower had instant hot water. The heating system kept us warm throughout our stay. Despite a few minor issues, like the lack of hand soap and old dish brushes, these were easily overlooked in the grand scheme of things. I highly recommend Thornton in Chipping Campden for its excellent location and wonderful amenities.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the charming village. We loved being able to walk to all the bars, restaurants, and cafes. The apartment itself was well-equipped with everything we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to a comfortable bed. Plus, we were able to bring our pet along, which was a huge bonus!
The noise in the mornings. Being located on a busy junction and next to a pub, it did get quite noisy in the early hours.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of the village, and we loved exploring the surrounding area on the local circular walks. Wow, what a find! Thornton Villa is a hidden gem in the heart of a charming village. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and full of character. The pictures on the wall that showcase its history as a shop are a lovely touch. The apartment is perfectly sized for two people, and everything is conveniently located on one level. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and the shower was fantastic. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, making it easy to prepare meals.
While there were a couple of minor issues, such as the lack of hand soap and the need to replace some old dish brushes, these did not detract from our overall enjoyment of the property. The street parking was a bit tricky at times, but we were lucky throughout our stay and didn't have any major problems.
